We trust that you are doing well and that you are finding ways to keep moving forward with things and knowing Gods favour on your lives in this time of uncertainty. During times like these, it is important that we as God’s people are trusting Him in our lives and are looking to Him in all things.

 

We are in unchartered territory, with the Coronavirus situation developing all the time and as such, it is important that we respond to what is going on and the advice given. In response to the press conference from our Prime Minister on Monday 16th March, we have taken the prayerful decision to change the way that we do Church. All corporate gatherings will not be together at Legacy Centre for the foreseeable future. This means that with immediate effect, there will be no Sunday gatherings at 11am, no Life Groups/Dinner Parties, no Youth, and no other departmental gatherings. (please bear in mind that this is subject to change as well).

 

We want to take this opportunity to high light some important factors relating to these decisions: 

 

 

1. We are still the Church!

Starting this Sunday 22nd March at 11am, we will be hosting Legacy church online with some great stories and encouragements and a powerful message that you will be able to engage with. If you know of anyone else who would like to join us online, why not share the link with them also and let’s make sure we still meet together as a church community.

Please keep in contact with the Social Media daily as there will be updated from the Leaders.  

2. Life Group and Dinner Parties

On top of this, our Life Groups/Dinner Parties will take on an even greater significance! This is why we profile them so much. If you are part of a life group/dinner party, we will be sending out videos/podcasts and questions EVERY WEDNESDAY to your leaders who will engage you all in discussion and devotion together. 

 

It’s not down to your leader to do it all but rather; for us all to play our part in looking out for each other, caring for each other and serving one another.

3. Safety

Safety is PARAMOUNT. We have nothing extra or different to add regarding Government advice in this regard. Every one of us must take responsibility to follow this advice. As a church, we are part of society as a whole and there must be a coordinated effort from every individual in our nation to tackle this pandemic. Stay safe and please follow Government guidelines.

As a leadership we are standing and praying with you and know that Jesus is still outworking His plan and purpose in your life and in His world. Remember what Paul says to Timothy, in 2 Timothy 1:7For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.Let’s stand strong together in faith and we will see God do incredible things for us and through us.
